Lauren MacLeod is a Nashville-based senior literary agent with Aevitas Creative Management

Lauren’s primary interests are cookbooks, food writing, narrative nonfiction, pop-culture, true crime, memoir, young adult fiction and nonfiction, and middle-grade novels.

She is a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier Nashville and a former board member and co-vice president of the Association of American Literary Agents, where she currently serves as co-chair of the communications committee, and sits on the contracts committee, the governance committee and the AI special committee. In 2024 she was named a Publishers Weekly Star Watch Honoree, and in 2025 she was honored with an inaugural AALA Impact Award for her leadership in coordinating the complete redesign of the organization’s website.

Before joining ACM, she was named Vice President of The Strothman Agency. She graduated cum laude from Emerson College, receiving a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing.
